Introducing "the Boondocker." This is a 3-course, 4-string acoustic walking dulcimer or dulcimer guitar that anyone can play! Typically tuned to D-A-D, you can play tabs designed for the traditional appalachian mountain dulcimer, though played liked a guitar. The diatonic fretboard and open tuning mean you can't play a bad note. The Sapele Mahogany version is crafted of solid Sapele, with a 1/8" Sapele top with our Henna-inspired engraved top design. Features a Katalox bridge with a corian saddle. The sound is loud, clear, and beautiful. Will play along well with an acoustic guitar, cajon, etc.. Finished with several coats of lacquer. Perfect for new players and pros alike - these are just a ton of fun to play.
