The Appalachian Mountain Dulcimer is a uniquely American instrument — and one of the easiest string instruments to play. With this kit, it's even easier to build.

Kits include a pre-fretted hardwood neck (cherry, oak, or walnut), a laser-cut birch plywood body, tuning pegs, strings, instruction booklet, hardware, and a pick. Assemble in about an hour with glue and a screwdriver. Finish with stain, paint, oil, or leave the wood natural — then start making music at home, in the classroom, or with a group.
