The new Boondocker “D2” updates the original Boondocker dulcimer. They feature deeper bodies for added resonance, thinner neck for easier playability, and separate melody string holes to ease restringing. The electrics add passive tone control for greater control over the amplified tone.

Boondocker D2 PRO Mahogany Dulcimer Guitar
The PRO version is crafted of solid Sapele, with an 1/8" Sapele top. Features a Rosewood bridge with a corian saddle. The sound is loud, clear, and beautiful. Will play along well with an acoustic guitar, cajon, etc.. Finished with several coats of clear laquer.
It includes a hidden humbucking pickup, volume knob and jack to allow you to plug into your favorite amplifier or PA system.
